Don't ever just spend time on your right or left hand.  Give each hand equal attention.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Don't just stand with your chest facing the wall.  The opposite shoulder and leg of the arm that you are throwing with should be pointing towards the wall.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Faster is better.  Are you going to throw a 10 mph ball in an actual game?  I sure hope not.  Make the wall as realistic as possible.  Crank that thing as hard as you can.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Practice in full gear.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Choose a brick or square and throw your ball in it every single time.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;When you drop the ball, treat it like a ground ball in a game.  Get as much out if this as you can.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Have fun!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Drills (Do 30 times or more for each hand):&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Standard: Simple throw while standing still.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Alternate: Throw with your right hand, catch with your left.  Throw with your left, catch with your right. Repeat.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;On-the-run:  You will need a long stretch of wall to do this.  It can be very hard. This trick is called the... Lacrosse Llama (for lack of creativity)!!  It's where you shoot the ball in between your legs and into the goal.  Here are the steps:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;To complete this trick, you must be fairly close to the crease.  It's a good one to pull when you are open and you have a one-on-one with the goalie.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;While running, start cradling only with your dominant hand.  Your opposite shoulder should be facing the goal.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Look at one of the top corners of the goal (to throw off the goalie) and turn your stick upside down and quickly do a one-handed shot through your legs and into one of the bottom corners of the goal.  This is a similar motion to dribbling a basketball through your legs.  It will be hard to get a lot of power into your shot, but the point of this trick is to keep the goalie from seeing your stick.  If this trick is done properly, the goalie will not see the shot as it goes through your legs and into the goal. Each cone in a row should be about 15 ft apart, while each row of cones should be about 50 ft apart (see picture). Instruct your team to line up in front of the first cone. Tell them that they should sprint each 50 ft stretch and slowly jog each 15 ft stretch. It's the job of the team to maintain the speed of the line; if the runner in front of you is running too slow, encourage them to pick up the pace. After running the flag once, the runner at the back is to move to the front and everybody else stays in the same order. Run the flag 50 times (or as many as you see fit). It's ok for players to rest and get water while they are waiting for other players to finish the flag, but if they sit out for an entire flag run then the entire team should run an additional flag.</content><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.lacrossellama.com/2008/03/conditioning-texas-flags.html' title='Conditioning...
